A website with an online shop
The Shop
R17,950
Everything in The Website, plus an online shop where customers buy from you and pay by card.
Customers browse your products, add them to a basket and pay on your website through Yoco, Payfast or the provider you already use. Your stock counts down as things sell, and delivery is set up the way your business works.
A shop has more to set up than a website, and some of it comes from you. You open an account with Yoco or Payfast in your business’s name, or use the one you already have, and tell me what you sell, your prices and how you deliver. I walk you through opening an account if you need one, and connect everything to your website.
If you sell bookings rather than products, like classes or appointments that people pay for in advance, The Shop does that too.
What your shop includes
- A catalogue of your products, with a page for each one
- A basket and checkout, with card payments through Yoco, Payfast or the provider you already use
- Stock that counts down as things sell
- Delivery options, set up the way your business delivers
- Paid bookings, if that’s what you sell
- The legal pages a shop needs, written for you: terms, returns and refunds, and a privacy notice
- Your first 100 products loaded for you
A finished example
Poplar Street Bakery is an invented bakery in Durban, built as The Shop so you can see exactly what you’d get. Everything works except taking payment.
Everything in The Website, plus a shop. Customers browse a catalogue, open a page for each product, add things to a basket, choose delivery or collection, and check out.
Come back to this page on a laptop to see that one. On a screen this size you can view the sample at:
On a phone the sample sits still so the page can scroll past it. Tap it to look around inside, and Done when you have finished.
- A catalogue with a page for each product, and a working basket.
- Delivery, collection and stock, all set up.
- On a real shop, customers pay through Yoco, Payfast or the provider you already use.

Questions about The Shop
Questions people ask before they decide. If yours isn’t here, ask me on WhatsApp.
- What do I need to set up?
- An account with Yoco, Payfast or the provider you already use, in your business’s name, so payments go straight to you. If you need a new one I walk you through opening it, and I connect it to your website. You also send me your products, your prices and how you deliver.
- Who adds the products?
- I load your first 100 products. After that, I can show you how to add them yourself, or I can add them for you at R450 an hour.
- Do you write the words?
- Yes. I write a first draft from what you tell me about your business, and you correct it. It’s included in the price.
