Websites for small businesses in Pretoria
This is where I am, so if you would rather do this across a table, we can.
Pretoria runs on businesses that live or die on the suburb they are in: the physio in Lynnwood, the bakery in Waterkloof, the guest house near the government buildings. Customers here search by suburb more than by city, and your website should be findable that way.
It is also a city where a good share of your customers would rather read Afrikaans than English. A website in both, properly written rather than run through a translator, is something almost nobody bothers with here.
What a website here tends to need
- The suburbs you work in, named, because that is what people search
- Afrikaans as well as English, if that is who your customers are
- Your Google Business Profile connected, so you come up on the map when somebody nearby looks
- Parking and directions, especially if you are anywhere near the city centre
