Who I build for
Websites for preschools and creches
No parent picks a creche off a website. They pick after the visit. The site’s job is to reassure them enough to come and see the place.
No decision a parent makes asks for more trust than this one. Somebody is deciding whether to leave their child with you, and a website alone won’t settle that for them. They will come and look, and they will decide standing in your yard.
That makes the job clear: reassure them enough that they want to come and see. That means answering the questions they’re too polite to ask on the phone, and making booking a visit the easiest thing on the page.
What your website needs
- Photographs of the actual place — the rooms, the yard, the fence. Never stock photos of children
- Who looks after the children, and how many children there are per adult
- Security: the gate, who is allowed to collect, how you handle it
- Fees, and what they include, so nobody spends a visit finding out
- One clear way to book a visit — it’s the only thing on the page you need them to do
